The Festival

Re:Orient was founded in 1993. Every year we stage the Re:Orient Festival where we let the stars of the Orient take the stage and perform to a principally Swedish audience. The festival takes place in the centre of Stockholm and has become one of the city’s most exciting happenings as well as one of the city´s most attractive and sought after waterholes.

Throughout the year we put on concerts, performances, lectures and seminars where we plunge into contemporary issues and the relations between East and West, tradition and modernity. Once a month we host Re:Orient Club at Kägelbanan, Södra Teatern.

The Club

With the absolute best hits from the dance-floor of the East. Come and mingle with the most relaxed audience around as our eminent djs serve up the most dance-irresistible, hip-shaking, desert-rocking sounds to have passed through a camel’s ears!
